Jason, a senior kicker at Carroll High, set a national high school record for career extra points with 176 when he booted eight in a 62-6 defeat of Lake Worth High. He broke the mark set by Andy Elton of Bradenton, Fla., between 1983 and '85.
Woodford, 77, won six medals in the 75-to-79 age group division at the Masters National Long Course Championships, in Woodlands, Texas, including three golds in the 400-and the 800-meter freestyles and the 200-meter freestyle relay.

Brandi, 15, became the youngest female to win the ladies' division of the 28-gauge skeet-shooting world championships. She beat more than a thousand opponents by hitting all 125 targets she fired at, including 25 hits in a shootoff to claim the title.
Brian, a freshman soccer forward, established a school single-game record of five goals for Bishop Shannon High in a 6-2 win over Garnet Valley High. He scored two times with his right foot, twice with his left and once with his head.

Molly and Jill, a senior and a freshman, respectively, at Reno High, won the girls' doubles title at the state high school tennis tournament by beating Erin Rogich and Aisling Bowyer of Las Vegas's Bishop Gorman High 1-6, 6-4, 6-2. The Davenports lost only three sets in winning 33 of 34 doubles matches this year, and as the Huskies' No. 3 (Molly) and No. 2 singles players, they won 160 of 164 games in the regular season. Reno High (10-0 in dual matches) finished No. 1 in the state.
