Four-star guard Addison Patterson verbally committed to Oregon and reclassified to the 2019 class on Sunday.

"I'm 100% committed to the University of Oregon," Patterson said at a press conference.

Patterson, who is ranked 42nd nationally on the 247Sports composite, reclassified from the class of 2020. He was also considering Arizona State, Illinois and USC.

This is the second key August pickup made by Dana Altman and Oregon as they continue to reload after losing several contributors from 2019's Sweet 16 team. Last week, the Ducks landed five-star center N'Faly Dante over Kentucky.

Patterson played at Scottsdale (Ariz.) Bella Vista Prep and took an official visit to the Ducks in early July. He made Sports Illustrated's Jeremy Woo's Best NBA draft prospects at the 2019 Basketball Without Borders camp list in February.
